Chocolates made easy

Enjoy the pleasure of sweetness…  hazelnut chocolates…  without sugar or milk… but amazingly tasty… don’t say anything… nobody will tell the difference !!


1 cup toasted hazelnuts (about 150 gr.)

1 cup dates (about 14)

2 to 3 tbsp of cocoa powder

1 tbsp of rice syrup

1 pinch of salt

¼ cup toasted hazelnuts crushed for coating

Remove the bone from the dates and soak them in a bowl of water for 30 minutes.

If the dates are not too dry, they may not need soaking.

 Crush 1/4 cup of hazelnuts and leave them in a large salad bowl. You don’t need to crush them too much, it is nice to find large pieces on the coating.

When dates are hydrated, crush them in a food processor with the hazelnuts, cocoa and salt. Press several times to mix them well. 

Place the dough in a bowl, add the rice syrup and mix well.

Roll little balls with your wet hands and toss them into the bowl where you left the hazelnuts for the coating.

Swirl around the bowl to ensure that all the balls get completely coated.
