Who does not like chocolate?
Try these quick and easy to make truffles… you’ll just… love them!!
Ingredients:
150 grams of dark chocolate
(there are very good quality options in the market now, go for bio, non dairy and no added sugar, of course!)
1/2 bottle of soy cream (about 100 gr.)
Rice syrup
A pinch of salt
Cocoa powder for coating
Preparation:
Put the chocolate in a saucepan on very low heat.
Make sure to stir all the time to prevent sticking.
When the chocolate is liquid add the cream, and sweeten to taste.
Add a pinch of salt.
Let it cook for about 5 more minutes, this will gently cook the cream.
Pour the mixture into a glass bowl and let it cool.
It should be really cold when forming the truffles, so you can even leave it overnight.
Put the cocoa powder in a bowl.
Use a small spoon to take some chocolate, and with slightly damp hands, shape the truffles without manipulating too much.
Place the truffles in the cocoa bowl and shake it so that they get well coated.
Cover them real well, since for truffles will absorb some of the cocoa after a few hours.
