Braised tofu

If you thought the tofu was a bit dull, try this recipe and you will change your mind. A simple, quick and tasty way to prepare tofu. You’ll be surprised!

Ingredients

1 block of tofu cut into slices
2 spoonfuls of  shoyu
2 spoonfuls of apple juice concentrate
Water
4 slices of fresh ginger

Preparation

Fry the tofu in plenty of oil until golden, drain and place in a pan.

You can also fry it in a pan with little oil, in this case, make sure to turn the tofu when golden brown on one side.

Onced you have placed the fried tofu in the pan, add the shoyu and the apple concentrate, place the ginger slices and add just enough water to cover the tofu.

Place the lid and bring the liquids to a boil, then lower the flame and let it cook until the tofu absorbs the marinade.

Serve with some green leaves or blanched broccoli.
