Vegan rice and tofu burger

You’ll just love this burger!!…  So tasty and satisfying… it is also healthy and full of nutrients!

Prepared with cereal, protein and vegetables… What else could you ask for?

Ingredients for 5-6 burgers:

1/2 block of smoked tofu
The same amount in volume of cooked brown rice
2 dried tomatoes chopped
1 handful of chopped cilantro
2 fresh garlics minced
A bit of black pepper
A pinch of salt
Semi wholemeal flower

Preparation:

Crumble the tofu with your hands over a large bowl.

Add the vegetables finely chopped.

Add  the rice and spices.

Mix well with your hands.

Form patties with wet hands and pass through some semi wholemeal flour.

Fry in abundant oil.

It is important not to move the burger while frying. Wait to see that the edges are golden brown to turn them over, they will be more crisp and absorb less oil.

Place on absorbent paper.

Arrange your burger with  varied lettuce leaves, shredded carrots, sprouts and sauerkraut. It would also be nice to add some grated daikon or radish previously macerated in some shoyu.

You can also use vegan mayonnaise … I’ll hang the recipe in a couple of days !!
