Teff flakes and peanut cookies make a delicious snack to enjoy with a good cup of tea. Teff is a cereal rich in calcium and magnesium and it contains no gluten!!
So simple to prepare you have no excuse!!
Ingredients:
1 cup of teff flakes
1 cup of rice milk
3 spoonfulls of peanut butter
2 spoonfulls of chopped raisins
Sesame seeds (optional)
Preparation:
Mix the flakes with the rice milk in a bowl and let them soak for 30 minutes.
Add The peanut butter and mix well. Peanut butter, will give a nice taste and will help the cookies to be more crunchy.
Add the finely chopped raisins.
Preheat oven to a temperature of 180 degrees.
To form the cookies you can use your hands wet and place them on a lightly oiled tray.
Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds and bake for 15 minutes.
